Business Spotlight on Newman Technology Solutions

Owned by brothers Branden and Rylind Newman, Newman Technology Solutions specializes in audio-visual, security, and structured cabling solutions for businesses. After working more than 15 years in the audiovisual industry, Branden decided to start his own business in February 2022. When his brother Rylind retired from the Army, he joined the partnership to expand the business to include 14 employees.

Newman Technology Solutions provides technological AV solutions to businesses, schools, government buildings, and more. Recent projects include Bright Farms in Lorena, Dripping Springs ISD, and facilities for Milam County. Branden relies on his strong relationship with his brother and his team to take care of each job.

“I couldn’t do it without my team, they’re rock solid,” Branden said. “Having that foundation is important. The persistence and push that we have from our team has been really awesome.”

When he started looking for a financial institution to fund his startup, Branden met with Texell’s Commercial team. They helped him get an SBA loan and set up his commercial accounts. “Summer’s been fantastic,” Branden said. "She has been a rock, and anything I need, she gets it done. Massive salute to her.”

Branden brings the same relationship-centered focus to his business. As a family-owned business, he approaches each customer with empathy, treating them more like family than a customer. With each project, he is open and honest to find the options that best fit their needs.

“I’m a big relationship guy,” he said. “I like to develop solid relationships with customers so that if something goes wrong, they can call me and we’ll get what they need,” he said. Branden and Rylind were able to turn a three-year plan into a one-year after launching the company due to their focus on relationships and making connections. As the business continues to grow, they have dreams of building their own facility to accommodate bigger projects.
