Texell Credit Union Hosts a Financial Scams Seminar

Texell Credit Union will host Be Aware: Financial Scams Seminar from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 23, 2025. Held in the 1948 Conference Room at Texell’s Headquarters, this seminar features a speaker from the Temple Police Department. 

Topics covered include:

• Trends in common scams being used today
• Best practices to avoid falling victim to fraudsters

“The financial community continues to be aggressively targeted by scammers,” states Amy Merriman, Texell’s Chief Operating Officer. “This trend is likely to continue, and we are happy to partner with the Temple Police Department to help educate and alert our members and the community about the latest fraud attacks and how they can protect themselves.”
