Texell Receives Los Premios de Telemundo Central Texas

Texell Credit Union received Los Premios de Telemundo Central Texas award (Best Local Credit Union) in its first annual awards. Telemundo Central Texas viewers nominated and voted on their favorite businesses in the Waco-Temple-Killeen region.

“We are extremely honored to be chosen for this award by Telemundo viewers,” said Tony Hale, President & CEO of Texell Credit Union. “It is a first from this news station, and it reflects the diligent effort our staff make every day to provide personalized service to every Texell member.” Hale accepted the award along with Texell’s Director of Retail, Mike Navarro.

In past years, Texell received “Best Credit Union/Best Bank” awards by readers of the Temple Daily Telegram, Killeen Daily Herald, and the Belton Journal. Earlier this year Texell was awarded the Small Business Administration’s (SBA’s) #1 in Credit Union Lending Award presented by the North Texas Association of Guaranteed Lenders (NTAGGL). In 2023, Texell ranked 31st in the Best Credit Unions to Work For in the nation by American Banker.
