Meet Galen from Texell's Commercial Team

Texell offers several opportunities to further your career, including assisting our business members with checking and savings accounts, certificates, loans and other financial products. "When hiring for this department, I look for cues that they're a team player, that they can network in the community, that they have integrity, and that they have a willingness and ability to continuously learn," said Galen. "This is a forever changing environment that we're in and we have to stay on top of industry trends. We have to be innovative."

The Commercial team includes Business Officers, Commercial Support Specialists, and Business Analysts. Business Officers develop relationships with business members and match them with the loan or service they need. As an approved lender with the Small Business Administration (SBA), Texell underwrites SBA 7(a) and 504 loans, as well as other loan types. Commercial Support Specialists assist the Business Officers by following up with the members and providing administrative support to secure funding. Business Analysts provide research and analyze data to make sure Texell's Commercial Services meet the needs of business members.
